As we close our classroom community for the year, we are working on preparing our environment for the summer.  Cubby scrubbing is a work for the students to clean their space as well as utilize all of the practical life skills learned this year.  Older students pair with younger students to work together on this.  One of our final practical life works is to polish classroom materials; this allows the students to independently practice skills while also taking responsibility for our environment. We also begin closing our classroom shelves and invite students to complete many fun activities, such as working on puzzles, bringing legos from home, and making friendship pins to deliver to friends in the classroom.  We also made individual pizzas and enjoyed them together on the line during circle time!
