Bev is our Executive Director with over 30 years experience in the education field. Her experience includes a teaching licenses for Kindergarten, General Education 1-8, Special Education K-12; Principal PK-12; Administrative Specialist in curriculum and instruction. She holds a Bachelor degree in General Education; a Masters in Special Education and Education Administration. Bev is from the Bowling Green area. She has two sons, one is an MSBG alumnus and her other son is currently in MSBG Middle School. When asked what she likes best about MSBG, Bev says, “as a parent and professional educator, I appreciate the excellent education students receive at Montessori School of Bowling Green. This type of educational setting is like no other I have experienced and thrives on mutual respect among students, parents and staff. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this wonderful education environment.”
Jakki is our Education Director and has been a Montessori parent since 2015 and on staff since 2014. Jakki has a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Social and Natural Sciences from BGSU. Jakki is currently pursuing her Masters of Intervention Services and Montessori Credential in Administration at Seton Montessori Institute. When asked what she likes best about the Montessori School, Jakki says, “Working at MSBG is an experience unlike any other. It’s an honor to be a part of the community raising and supporting these children on their journey.”
Leigh Ann has over twelve years of professional banking experience with Huntington National Bank. She most recently served as the Customer Service Team Leader. Her daughters both attend MSBG, one in Lower Elementary and one in Early Childhood. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She joined our MSBG team in 2012.
Kathy Joined our administrative team in summer of 2019. Kathy is originally from Bowling Green and has spent several years in the Chicago area working in the marketing and non-profit fields. Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts in English/Journalism from the Miami University, has served on non-profit boards, in parent organizations for her family and held event/fundraiser chair roles.
Lori joined the Montessori School in November 2018, as the Assistant Clerk, with over 20 years of office experience. She loves to spend time with her grandchildren. When asked, Lori says, “the people are great, and, the Montessori experience is excellent.”
Ginger McDaniel is our morning Administrative Assistant and began summer of 2019. Ginger has a rich history of administrative experience and has worked extensively in school office environments. She is a native of the area, graduating from Otsego High School and studying at Terra Community College in the area of business. Ginger is a friendly, positive and highly organized!
Jess joined the Montessori School in 2018 as an Administrative Assistant. She attended BGSU and in her spare time Jess tells us she enjoys “hoarding craft supplies”. When asked what she likes best about MSBG she says, “the interaction with people and enjoy seeing the activities and tasks the students here complete.”
