Hello from Washington, D.C.! Our MSBG travelers kicked off their journey with a cozy stay in an Airbnb, grocery runs to a local bodega, and a visit to alumni-favorite soul food stop, Oohhs and Aahhs. Day one in the nation’s capital was packed with hands-on history: students presented at key monuments on the National Mall and explored museums including the National Museum of African American History and the International Spy Museum. With over 28,000 steps logged, the day ended with dinner at iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl and evening reflections—resting up for more immersive learning ahead!
