This week in the Lower classrooms, we have had minimal work time due to testing. Students were tested in Reading, Math, and third-year students in Language. Results for the testing will be in by the end of the week, and are available upon request. Although testing took the majority of a couple of work mornings, we were able to introduce a new Zoology Unit on Mammals. This is our last classification of vertebrates that we will study.
To offset our testing, we took a walk to the Bowling Green DQ for some fun. We were lucky to have perfect weather for our walk. Once there, Manny, the owner, gave us all a tour of the restaurant. It was good to see what happens behind the scenes of such an establishment. We each got to make our own cone and then enjoyed the fruits of our labor.
Have a great weekend!
