This week, we had many new practical life and sensorial works! In practical life, the braid board was introduced to learn how to use three strands of rope to make a braid. Our new unit was all about exploring nuts and bolts as children used their hands and fingers to twist. Geo-boards were also added to the shelf to create shapes using rubber bands and a peg board. In sensorial, the trinomial cube was added to the shelf, the last cube and most complex! Our light table was also demonstrated as a fun sensory work to build pictures using transparent shapes. We also had our thermic unit out to feel the different temperatures, hot and cold. Our kindergartners also had a lesson on “The Farm.” This is a small environment work to continue learning grammar as children begin by labeling the nouns on the farm. They then write and draw them into their notebooks.
