This week we studied contractions for Word Study. The students are learning how to write words as contractions and go from a contraction to two separate words.We continue to explore Simple Machines for Science and the Western States for Geography. Next week, the 2nd year students will have a separate lesson on the Western States for the beginning of their 2nd Year State research project.
