This week we continued with our Colonial America simulation. In Science, we began our study of simple machines with the definition of work (W=FxD). In Writing, students are working on memoirs. In math, students work on square roots, fractions, and decimals. Finally, in Language, students are working on adverbial modifiers and types of adjectives.
We wrapped up Literature Circle this week. Students are working on final projects that showcase their creative side. While most students are working on their projects at school, some plan on bringing them home to complete. Assignments are due next Tuesday.
