Thank you so much for attending conferences last week. Your children were proud of their work; watching them share it with you was a joy. If you haven’t seen it yet, your child’s progress report is now available online through My BackPack. Log in to My BackPack, find the heading “My Forms/Documents,” and click “My Documents.” Then click on the progress report you want to see, and you can view or download the PDF.
For their halfway deadlines, students must submit a list of what they have completed and still need to complete. Speaking of homework projects, we have already had our first presentation! Theo made a hoverboard! It’s so cool! You have to check out the videos below. Last week, we also wrapped up our literature circle books and saw some impressive end-of-book creative projects. Elliott made a DnD character, Max made a complex game board, Matthew made a game, and a few students put on plays. All the projects were really fun to see. We also enjoyed a short Valentine’s celebration! Thanks for bringing treats to share with the class.
Next week, we will begin our new literature circle books focusing on the mystery genre. For this term, Literature Circle assignments will be due on Tuesdays. We had to tweak the schedule, and Literature Circle bumped up a day. Your child will still have a week to finish their assignments. They will now receive their new discussion questions every Wednesday.
Next week is Montessori Ed week! Theo, Max, and Matthew are working on a video to kick off the event for the entire school! Please be sure to look for it in next week’s classroom news. Check out our fun celebration days below:
