We began the week discussing Presidents Day and reading a book about some of our past Presidents like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. Our next food preparation work was spreading jam onto a cracker! We added the tying dressing frame to practice our tying skills. This will help with any self-care tying like tying our own shoes. Our next Geography unit was introduced on our country, the United States of America. Children could create the flag, identify special landmarks and places found around the nation. They discovered how many states are in our country as well. For Practical Life, we explored locks and keys and how they connect to one another using our fine motor skills to figure out the combinations!
