Our classrooms have been showing some normalization and everyone has been getting to the routine of things.  We are pleased to see our students working peacefully.
This week we have added to our Zoology shelf.  We have introduced nomenclature (matching cards) of several invertebrates that the students heard about during the 2nd Great Lesson.  The nomenclature focuses on the parts of a particular invertebrate.  Some of the invertebrates that the students may explore are:  Porifera, Cnidaria, Mollusks, Annelids and Arthropods.
On our Math Unit shelf we have added work on Roman Numerals.  During the 5th Great Lesson students learned that they can see these numerals on clocks, books and movie credits.  Younger students will work with matching cards for numerals to 12, while older students will work with numerals that go beyond 50.  This exploration of numerals is always a favorite each year.
Have a good weekend!  Hopefully some of you can come to the MSBG Family Campout that the MSBGPTO has organized.  We’re sure fun will be had by all!
