This week, our students have been diving into fascinating topics such as migration patterns, polarized lenses, personal narrative details, and sentence analysis. Our Weekly Woods and Tree Top Newspapers continue to be a big hit. At the end of each literature circle book, students showcase their imagination with a ‘creative component.’ Some students are filming movies, some are cooking, some are making newspapers, and one even wants to dig a six-foot-long and six-foot-wide hole in the playground to simulate the struggle of the young protagonists in Holes. Their creativity never fails to amaze us.
