What a beautiful fall week in EC East! We began the week with a new math unit exploring greater than, less than and equal to. Our first food prep lesson was shared with the students – grape plucking. This work is part of our practical life curriculum and allows the student to understand the process of independently preparing and enjoying a snack. Thank you to all the families that donated to our grape lesson! The land, air and water unit was introduced to science and my family was added to the geography shelf. Both the science and geography units encourage exploration and a greater understanding of the environments around them and the students’ place in their unique family. We also voted on Election Day! Students independently voted for an outside dance party or bubbles and chalk-dance party won the popular vote!
