It’s hard to believe it’s almost the end of the school year, and it’s been a busy week! We had our EC music performance, and they did such a wonderful job! We honored our friendships we have made and grown this year by making and delivering friendship bracelets to one another. The students continue to help close down our classroom and scrub out their cubbies, removing all the dirt from the year! They love these multi-step care of the environment works and taking responsibility and ownership for what was theirs. Many two-person favorite works were brought back out so they can enjoy working and being with friends. We also enjoyed sharing in some special community activities, including beach day! Students made snow cones, used beach towels as rugs, and enjoyed a picnic lunch with our friends from the East classroom as well! Our last food preparation work was making mini pizzas using an English muffin, sauce, cheese, and their favorite toppings! This was the last week for specials, and Spanish featured a celebration with a piñata and a sweet treat. We are looking forward to celebrating the end of the school year with you next week!
