March 6, 2026 – Toddler

This week, our toddlers began experiencing the early signs of spring both inside and outside the classroom. Indoors, the children observed birds and bunnies visiting outside our window and were excited to notice something new in their environment. They watched the animals with great curiosity, practicing observation and developing an appreciation for nature.

Outdoors, the warmer weather allowed the children to enjoy time in the sandbox and riding on cars. Outdoor play provides meaningful hands-on experiences that support gross motor development, coordination, and independence. The sandbox also offers rich sensorial exploration as children scoop, pour, and explore different textures. Experiencing seasonal changes firsthand helps connect the children to the natural world and encourages a sense of wonder about their environment.
