Early Childhood had a special presentation from the Wood County Hospital about Veggie Basics. Students had the opportunity to make and taste a nutritious smoothie! Practical Life works this week included transferring pins to a salt shaker and polishing wooden materials with polish and a cloth. We demonstrated another sensorial extension of combining the pink cubes and brown prisms together. Our next sensorial unit was olfactory; using our sense of smell to match scents or scents to pictures. Our math unit was about the concept of addition through a variety of manipulatives to understand that two smaller numbers will equal a larger one.
