We began the week with a new math unit about time. Children learn time on the hour and half-hour as they explore analog and digital clock faces. In Practical Life we added tools such as a garlic press or juicer to transfer water from one to one. Wood polishing was also added to the shelf. Our next food preparation was preparing and eating a pancake! A multi-step favorite that incorporates spreading, pouring, and cutting! Our new geography unit was a continent study about South America. On Friday we discussed St. Patrick’s Day and used half a green pepper to make “shamrock prints” with green paint. We also had out a fun themed sensory bowl to sift out golden coins! Thank you to all our families who took the time to come join your child in their music class this week and we hope to see all of you at our Spring Bowling Fundraiser this Saturday!
