Happy New Year! We can’t believe it’s January, 2026! The students returned from Winter Break remembering the routines and working diligently. They have become very normalized and we are happy to see them working and learning. Each day they make a plan for the day and get straight to work. Most will choose a work from each subject of our curriculum daily.
While students continue to master the math process and move on to new individualized lessons, we have also introduced a new math unit. We are learning about money. Within this unit, students work on coin recognition and the skill of counting money. Students who are familiar with coins will learn and practice how to make change.In Geography we are learning about the flag. Students will learn the parts of a flag, flag etiquette, flags of each state in the U.S.A and explore different flags from around the world. Learning the different flags is a great way to give students insight into global geography.Have a wonderful weekend!The Lower Team
