April 3, 2026 – EC West

What an EGGcellent week in Early Childhood! Many egg themed works included making an egg collage, and using watercolors and crayon to paint an egg resistant art project. Students also prepared and peeled a hard-boiled egg, then used an egg slicer to slice and eat the egg. An egg experiment was performed, ask your child about how the raw egg turned into rubber! Polishing a ceramic bunny was a new work on the practical life shelf. A new math unit was also introduced this week, all about money. Students discovered the names and values of the coins and dollar bills. We ended the week by dying eggs using markers and a paper towel and going on a special egg hunt together before our Spring Break! We had such a fun-filled week! Thank you for joining us during family music class and have a wonderful break and a Happy Easter.
