This week, our toddlers explored a new seesaw in the classroom and discovered how it works. As they engaged with this new material, they practiced coordination and strengthened their gross motor skills. The children used their legs and core while developing their sense of equilibrium and balance.
This activity also provided an opportunity for cooperative play, as the toddlers worked together and took turns. Through this experience, they supported one another while also learning to regulate their sensory and emotional needs. It was wonderful to observe their growing independence and concentration as they explored!
