This week, our Geometric cabinet was demonstrated. The first lesson includes two-dimensional shape recognition of the circle, triangle, and square. Next, all drawers will be available to dive deeper into the vocabulary of all shapes. Yoga cards were added to our movement shelf for balance and strength. The braiding board was added to our Practical life shelf as we had some friends who are very interested in braiding hair! Name tracing was a new activity on our writing shelf. Children can focus on tracing and writing the letter formations of their name or a friend’s. For a fun, Halloween themed art project, children used a marble dipped in white paint to roll around on black paper and create their own spider web. We used our gustatory sense again this week to taste black and green olives! Thank you to all our families for taking the time to meet with us during conferences and discuss the progress of your child. We appreciate the support and collaboration on behalf of their education.
