This week, our toddlers explored pounding work and painting within the classroom environment. As they engaged in pounding work, they strengthened their hand-eye coordination, refined wrist movements, and developed fine motor control through purposeful, hands-on activity.
The children also explored painting on a new variety of materials, including paper plates. Exploring different textures and surfaces encourages sensory exploration, creativity, and self-expression. Experiences like these help support concentration, independence, and the development of fine motor skills. It was wonderful to observe the toddlers fully engaged in their work and exploring with curiosity!
