With Spring being in full force now, we have unwelcome visitors on the playground. The mosquitoes and ticks are out. If you would like your child to apply bug spray at recess time, please send in a bottle with their name on it. You can also send in sunscreen. We will send these home at the end of the school year.
Our Botany shelf has work with seeds and flowers. The students learn the parts of a flower, the jobs that they have, and explore what the seeds look like. If you are a family that gardens, this is a great time to invite your child to help you plant.
While the students in the classroom continue to explore the Eastern/Southern states of the U.S., the 2nd-year students are closing in on finishing their state research project, and the 3rd-year students are working on pin maps in the classroom.
The End of the Year Days and 2 permission slips were sent home on Wednesday. Please read these carefully and return the slips for permission. If you have any questions, please let us know.
