This week, our toddlers planted seeds and fully embraced the experience. As they dug in the soil and sorted seeds, they practiced independence and developed practical life skills through purposeful, hands-on work.
This activity also provided rich sensory exploration, as the children engaged with the smell of the soil, the texture of the seeds, and the steps involved in planting. It was a meaningful opportunity to observe cause-and-effect while also offering a calming, almost meditative experience. We loved seeing their curiosity and joy as they explored!
