Hello Families,
Here’s the weekly update from the MSBG Adolescent Classroom! Below you’ll find important upcoming dates, followed by highlights from our work together this week.

Feb. 10 – My Own Museum Presentations, 9:45 am – 12:00 pm

Feb. 11 – Winging It! @ Brewing Green/Jac & Do’s

February 12-13 – Winter Conferences
We are coming up on an incredibly busy week, as you can see above. Here’s a nutshell of what the students will be doing for the three days we’re in full session (9th-11th):
– Preparing for My Own Museum presentations
– Setting up and bringing in pieces for My Own Museum
– Preparing for Student-Led Conferences
– Preparing for Winging It!
– Finishing Literature work
– Any remaining MapGrowth tests that need to be completed
Getting Involved

The students may need assistance with their Interactive Components M.O.M. presentations. Parents should help them acquire any materials they need for this work and bring them to school (sooner than later, if possible).

If you’re up for it, come to the Museum presentations! We will be presenting for the Lower Elementary students between 10:00 and 11:30 am. Parents are welcome to join us at any point between 9:45 am and noon, when we will be cleaning up.

If your adolescent is collecting pledges, help them do so. If they are not, help them prepare for what their role is in the “production” of Winging It!. Help keep them excited!

Come to Conferences with positive energy, plenty of questions, and a desire to learn something from the adolescents.
We have also attached the plan for our upcoming excursion to NYC. It has the big picture, a tentative itinerary, and a permission form for parents to sign.
