This week we introduced Tangrams for our Math Unit. This work challenges students’ spatial awareness to use 7 specific shapes to create and fit into specific structures. This work allows students to use what they have learned about geometry and problem-solving skills.
We have also added to our Word Study shelf with Homonyms. These are words that have the same spelling and pronunciations. In this work, they also distinguish between Homographs and Homophones.
