This week, our toddlers explored water work using strainers. This activity allowed them to practice gripping, scooping, and pouring motions while refining their coordination. Through participation in this work, children are encouraged to develop responsibility and care for their environment. It also served as a rich sensory experience while fostering concentration.
The toddlers also helped bake cupcakes this week. They poured ingredients, mixed them together, placed cupcake liners, and scooped the batter. This activity provided a meaningful introduction to early math concepts, such as measurement, while also supporting the development of fine motor skills.
