The EC East classroom began their new Science unit this week, Apples! The students had the opportunity to sort and label different varieties of apples and explore apple nomenclature, writing booklets and puzzles. We even taste tested different apple varieties and voted on our favorite! In Sensorial, students explored our red rods, teaching visual discrimination of size. We also added the blue constructive triangle to this curriculum area. In art, we added cutting paper and in practical life, tweezing sunflower seeds.
