The EC East classroom began their new Science unit this week, Apples! The students had the opportunity to sort and label different varieties of apples and explore apple nomenclature, writing booklets and puzzles. We even taste-tested different apple varieties and voted on our favorite! Practical Life introduced cutting clay and clipping clothespins – both directly aim to strengthen hand muscles and concentration. Hopping spot to spot was added to our Movement work.
