This week we have switched Science units with each other. The Lower North students are studying muscles, while the Lower South students are studying the Skeletal System. These units introduce the body and are separated by systems. Within each unit, the students are able to explore the ways that their bodies work and how to keep it as healthy and strong as possible.
Our Geography work is focused on Biomes. The initial lesson begins by taking the students outside and discussing what makes up a biome. They are able to physically see, feel and hear the parts of the biome that surrounds them daily.
Information on the 100th Day of School was sent home on Monday. In a separate email last week, we asked for you to send in a 8×10 picture frame for an activity that we have for that day. If you have any questions on this day or its events, please ask your teachers.
Remember that we are not in school this Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. See you all on Tuesday, January 20th.
Have a great and safe weekend
