Hello Lower Families,
Zooming into academic work, students are still exploring math, language and culture, with many units staying the same from last week. The fish unit has been swapped out with the amphibians unit, which students have been examining very studiously.
Zooming back out, it has been a busy week for all students as we head into the holidays, with some exciting holiday fun happening in the classroom! We have been learning about the variety of winter holidays, such as Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Christmas, Chinese New Year, and more. They are making connections as to similarities, differences, and common themes across all of these holidays. The students have loved being able to explore all the different holiday activities that have been put out onto our shelves as well. We loved having our families involved in our holiday party, so thank you to everyone who helped support us in various manners; we greatly appreciate it!
