This week in our toddlers’ classroom, the children practiced cutting and matching plastic vegetables. These activities support fine motor development by encouraging cutting, grasping, and holding skills. These fun exercises also help children build coordination and develop logical thinking skills. Cutting and matching vegetables introduces children to real-life tasks in a safe, hands-on way, while also expanding their vocabulary as they learn the names of different foods.
