Middle School has been busy at the beginning of this school year, getting adjusted to the new environment, our new classmates, and our new routines. We are starting the year with a cycle theme of Exploration, diving headlong into Exploration by studying U.S. Geography and early U.S. History. We will look into Heredity and Adaptation for Science, exploring the depths of the fossil record. Our writing will focus on Investigative Journalism and Current Events, exploring the world around us by seeing and hearing what is happening in the news. We are beginning to gear up for our Fall Excursion to Camp Tuscazoar, where we will commune with nature, provide service to a community, and work with our hands.
It has been a busy, exciting start to the school year, and we look forward to sharing those experiences with everyone.
