In Upper, we went on an in-class gemstone dig, identified which gems we found, and researched and wrote about them. In History, we dove into the lineage of humans. In Biology, students studied living organisms, plant root structures, and 6th years studied the pelvis bones (it went as well as expected). In Math, students practiced decimal number lines, binomials, and math facts. We did a lesson on the Story of Writing, had writer’s workshop, and did two technology lessons. In addition, we learned how to make our own paper this week! We also watch Kiki, the Middle School ferret, while the Middle School is at camp this week.
