Miss Liz presented The Second Great Lesson-How Life Began on Earth a few weeks ago. This story has prompted our new History Unit on the Timeline of Life. Students will be studying fossils and locating what Era and Period in which each fossil was found. They will also be learning about the different geological time periods, such as Hadean, Archean, Proterozoic, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic.
In Math, the students are learning to discriminate between odd and even numbers. They begin by sorting manipulative materials to see if there are paired objects, then move on to identifying odd and even written numbers. They are also exploring greater than, less than, or equal to numbers.
