Another busy week in the books. We have spent the first part of the school year assessing and reviewing skills in math and language and continue to observe and individualize these lessons for mastery and progress. We are studying greater than, less than and equal to (AKA greedy duck) for our math unit. While our Word Study Unit has changed to syllables.
Our culture units have switched in History among the Lower South and North classroom. South is now studying and exploring the Planets, while North is focusing on the Moon and the Sun.
We added Mandala (maps) work on our Geography shelf for deeper exploration of Land and Water forms. We finished up our great lessons this week of The History of Language and How Numbers Began.
