We had a fantastic time at Seneca Caves on Monday! Thank you for all of your help in making the trip happen. After our tour, the guide pulled me aside to share that our group was the most well-behaved class she had ever had and acknowledged all the great questions your children had.
Students jumped back into work on Tuesday with a lesson on early humans and then went to the woods to test out our survival skills. We also continued with writer’s workshop this week, and some students have already finished their first writing piece and have presented their final story to the class. Our 6th years are working on human biology and have enjoyed having our full-sized skeleton friend in the classroom.
