Our routines are getting settled and our workloads are increasing.
This past week, we delivered some donated goods to the Brown Bag Food Project. Peg gave us some insight into what they do, how they do it, and why they do it. It was an enlightening experience.
For science, we are playing with simulations for Heat, Temperature, and how all energy is interconnected and transferred (shown above).
A sort of Ad Hoc play about Mercantilism gave us a demonstration of what it was like to live in the British Colonies in the 18th Century, the highs and the lows. It’s a discussion of the events that led to the events that led to the American Revolution.
Group Initiative games are a favorite of ours. They help us grow as a community while having fun together. If you find one of us, ask us about Hinky Pinkys, Hands Up, Marco Polo, or One Duck.
