Beautiful fall weather inspired many works in the classrooms this week.  Each class continued working on tweezing sunflowers, some even the mammoth variety!  We then utilized these to create sunflower art.  We continued with our rotation of science units and completed apple art, and tree art as well.  In the East classroom, students explored mirror polishing and gourd polishing in Practical Life.  In Writing, we added name tracing, where students can trace the names of all our friends and teachers in the classroom.  The West classroom explored changing a toilet paper roll and sock matching in Practical Life.  Pin-punching was added to the writing shelf, and the numerical rods were presented in math.  West students also had new peace work including the finger labyrinth and peace people.  Color box two was added to the sensorial shelf as well.
