October 8, 2021, Toddler

Sensory and fine motor skill practice are a large part of our Montessori toddler curriculum. Children have multiple opportunities each day for exploration through practical life activities. Work such as scrubbing, tonging and spooning help strengthen the fine motor muscles. Sensory work for toddlers increases their vocabulary, encourages problem solving and developing the senses! Our toddlers have also been hard at work matching shapes and colors! October brings fun fall activities such as new songs and poems to learn!
