Last week we went on a trip to the Miami Erie Canal in Grand Rapids, Ohio. We also went to the Isaac Ludwig Mill. On the canal trip we also went through a lock. It felt like we were flying. On the boat they had a person walk around with a “thunder bucket” (nobody puked, except fake puking). They delivered us to the mill. We ground corn into cornmeal for six minutes and then the person who worked there used the grinding machine for thirty seconds. Then we saw who had more. We got fresh cornmeal made and we were able to take it home.We hope to make cornbread for our Thanksgiving feast. I recommend going there.
