The toddlers remain busy with the focus on practical life work. Walter is shown here “sponge squeezing”, he thinks it’s fun but we know it helps to strengthen the motor muscles in his fingers and hand! Henry is exploring the layers of a sunflower head, gently touching with one finger and feeling the leaves and seeds. Older children used the tweezers to pluck out the sunflower seeds. Other toddler activities include puzzle work, shape and number recognition and using the pink tower independently!
