Early childhood lessons this week included many works in Practical Life. The students cut velcro fruits and vegetables using a wooden slicer and cutting board. We also rolled napkins, used a turkey baster, and sorted silverware. All of these works strengthen and lengthen concentration as well as refine fine motor control. They are helpful to transfer to home life, too! Students also enjoyed creating a beautiful cornucopia and decorating a turkey with feathers, both of which will be used as centerpieces for our feast on Tuesday. We finished our week with creative turkey noodle art and lessons with the peace singing bowl.
