Early childhood focused on many new practical life works this week to extend into our Feast next week! These works included putting feathers in a turkey and transferring fruits/vegetables into a cornucopia to make centerpieces. Rolling napkins with napkin rings, place setting, and sorting silverware were also demonstrated. Children enjoyed practicing their chopping skills by slicing wooden foods as well. In art, children had the opportunity to create their own turkey’s and cornucopias! Early Childhood also continues to explore big and little and rough/smooth. East students introduced the quiet rug and blue constructive triangles in Sensorial while the West students explored using a baster and had their first geometric cabinet lesson. Thank you to all our families who signed up to help donate to our Feast next week!
