We are reflecting on what it means to be thankful this week! Many works reflect preparations in the home for family gatherings as well as for the feast we will prepare in our Early Childhood community. Works include setting a place at the table, using a baster, sorting silverware, rolling and folding napkins, filling a cornucopia with fruit and vegetables, and putting feathers in a turkey centerpiece. Our artwork also reflected making a cornucopia and a turkey. We also demonstrated how to match and roll socks as well as different ways to fold washcloths. Thank you for bringing in your apples. The children enjoyed all the steps of making our applesauce for our feast! They peeled, cored, and mashed the apples! They also worked on a special “I am Thankful” project that was sent home this week!
