Movement! Movement! Movement! We were not meant to sit still! Toddlers learn through movement. Children of this age are learning balance, coordination and are refining their gross motor skills. Dr. Montessori knew that movement is an essential factor in the physical and intellectual growth of children. Our toddler classroom offers many choices for movement! Children use the balance beam, crawl through the tunnel and climb the stairs. Our Montessori work is displayed on a shelf and taken to a rug or table to be explored, more movement! During line time our students engage in action songs and fingerplays, dancing with scarves and moving to the beat of music! On-the-go learning!
Turkey time! Parents please save the date and join us for a Thanksgiving snack prepared by the toddlers. Please sign up for food donations! The party will be on November 26th from 9:30am to 10:30 am. Gobble Gobble!
