As we come closer to the end of the school year, excitement and anticipation begins to take over. However, there is still work to be done in the classroom. Our 3rd year students are continuing to work on the Imaginary Island project and putting their typing practice to practical use.

We have introduced contractions for our new Word Study unit and graphing for the Math Unit. Younger students will be exploring pictographs, bar graphs, line graphs, and pie graphs. Older students were shown how to plot a coordinate.

Students continue to work through their work cycle goals every week. Please continue to have discussions with your student about their planner over the weekend and send it back on Monday morning.

If you need to send in or update any bug spray or sunscreen, remember to label with your child’s name and we will keep it in a basket for recess time.

Thank you for all the kind words of appreciation for Teacher Appreciation Week. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you.
