April showers bring May flowers! Let’s hope so! Outdoor education continues to be an important part of our Montessori curriculum. We have had several opportunities to walk the trail, look for birds and turn over logs and rocks to find insects! Pictured are toddler classmates enjoying lunch outside. In our classroom we have started watermelon, peas and beans to be replanted in the garden.
Math work! We have many works set up that focus on Math skills. The peg work pictured above helps children with one on one correspondence while counting has an added bonus of color recognition and fine motor skill practice. Some of our toddler math work aids in visual discrimination of shapes.
