Our students are completing many Practical Life works in preparations for closing our classroom community for the year. Chair scrubbing and cubbie scrubbing were introduced and allowed the children to take ownership over cleaning their own spaces! These multi-step works also refine their sense of order and independence, as well as lengthen concentration. We also began polishing our wooden classroom materials. Friendship pins were being created each day this week as well! Students could make a special pin with beads to deliver to a friend in the classroom. On Friday, we enjoyed a food preparation-making pizza!
