It’s so unbelievable that we are nearing the end of the school year! It has been a year of continued growth in all areas; physically and cognitively! Our toddler students have become very independent, being able to do so many everyday tasks for themselves! I am very proud of all they can do!

Math work on the toddler level presents itself in the form of geometry. You will see in the pictures a student using the magnetic geometric shapes to create structures. The other picture shows a student exploring the geometric solids. The geometric solids at this level are beautifully crafted from wood with a smooth finish; just right to invite the student to grasp, feel and explore the shapes. The geometric solids are part of the sensorial materials and can be seen in all levels of Montessori classrooms.

Future work in the toddler classroom will include cooking and food preparation.
