Right now in Upper Elementary, the 6th graders are doing a fundraiser for a field trip. They are selling tickets to everyone else in the school. The tickets are so we guess how many M&Ms and jelly beans are in a jar. The tickets cost $1. If you guess the closest to the right number, you get the jar.
Also for geography, each student is studying one or more countries. Once they study the country enough, they can start their project. Once their project is done, they’ll show it to the class. Some study areas are Europe, Egypt, Asia, and Africa. There are also more too. There are many different types of presentations – dioramas, trifolds, poster boards, and other things, but the purpose is the same. The trifolds, poster boards, and dioramas will be on display, and slide shows will be presented to the class. All the presentations will be unique, which means we will be surprised with everyone.
